Intensive High-Support Placements

Our intensive high-support placements are designed for young people with significant emotional, behavioural or safeguarding needs who require enhanced supervision and structured intervention. These placements provide higher staffing levels and increased support to ensure safety during periods of crisis or heightened risk.

Care is delivered by highly trained staff skilled in de-escalation, emotional regulation and crisis management. Structured routines, clear boundaries and consistent responses help young people feel contained and supported.

Clinical and safeguarding oversight plays a central role in these placements, ensuring that interventions are appropriate, proportionate and focused on reducing risk over time. The aim is to stabilise the placement, support emotional recovery and work towards less intensive care arrangements when appropriate.
