Our Services

Specialist Therapeutic Residential and Support Services for Children and Young People (Ages 8–17)

Vitality Healthcare Services delivers specialist residential and support services for children and young people aged 8–17 who require safe, structured and nurturing care environments. Our services are designed to respond to complex emotional, behavioural, social and mental health needs, including crisis and emergency situations.

All support is delivered through a trauma-informed, child-centred model, underpinned by clinical leadership, robust safeguarding, and experienced staff teams. We work in close partnership with local authorities, commissioning teams, education providers and health professionals to ensure each young person receives consistent, coordinated and outcome-focused care.

Our Service Framework

Every service provided by Vitality Healthcare Services follows a shared framework. Young people receive individualised care planning, consistent routines, and therapeutic support delivered by skilled professionals. Our approach prioritises emotional safety, stability, relationship-building and positive long-term outcomes.

Clinical oversight is provided by a qualified nurse, while safeguarding practice is led by a highly experienced social work professional. This ensures that risk management, health needs and child protection responsibilities are embedded across all services.

Our Specialist Services

Residential Children’s Care

Our residential care service provides safe, stable homes for young people who are unable to remain within their family setting. These placements support young people who may have experienced trauma, instability, placement breakdown or safeguarding concerns.

Within our homes, young people benefit from consistent routines, predictable boundaries and emotionally attuned care. Staff work closely with each young person to support emotional regulation, engagement in education, development of life skills and positive social interaction. Care plans are regularly reviewed and adapted to reflect progress, emerging needs and professional input.

Supported Living

Our supported living service is designed for young people who are developing greater independence but still require structured support and emotional guidance. This service focuses on building confidence, resilience and practical life skills while maintaining a strong emphasis on safety and wellbeing.

Support is delivered at a pace that reflects each young person’s developmental needs, ensuring they are encouraged but never overwhelmed. The aim is to promote independence while maintaining consistent adult support and supervision.

Domiciliary and Community-Based Support

We provide flexible domiciliary and outreach support for young people living at home, in foster care or within other placements. This service can be used as a preventative measure to reduce placement breakdown, or as a short-term intervention during periods of instability.

Support may take place within the home, school or community and is tailored to meet emotional, behavioural and practical needs. Our team works closely with families, carers and professionals to ensure continuity and consistency of care.

Tailored Solo Placements

Our solo placements are designed for young people who require a highly individualised environment due to complex needs or heightened risk. These placements provide enhanced supervision and support within a calm, low-stimulation setting.

Young people placed within solo arrangements receive consistent staffing, clear routines and intensive emotional support. This model is particularly effective for those who benefit from reduced environmental pressures and increased adult availability.

Intensive High-Support Placements

For young people requiring higher levels of supervision and intervention, we offer intensive high-support placements. These placements are designed to manage risk safely while promoting stabilisation and emotional regulation.

Staff working within high-support placements are trained in de-escalation, crisis response and therapeutic communication. Enhanced clinical and safeguarding oversight ensures that care remains safe, responsive and proportionate at all times.

Challenging Behaviour Support

Vitality Healthcare Services supports young people whose behaviour may present challenges or risks to themselves or others. Our approach is grounded in trauma-informed practice, recognising that behaviour is a form of communication rather than defiance.

Staff focus on understanding triggers, building trust and supporting emotional regulation. Interventions are non-punitive and aim to reduce escalation, promote safety and help young people develop healthier coping strategies over time.

More services. More value. One perfect place.

High-quality care depends on skilled, confident and well-supported staff. Our staff training and development programme ensures that all team members are equipped with the knowledge, skills and confidence required to support children and young people with complex needs.

Training covers safeguarding, trauma-informed practice, de-escalation techniques, mental health awareness and professional boundaries. Ongoing development supports reflective practice, accountability and continuous improvement.

By investing in staff development, we ensure consistent, safe and compassionate care across all services.

Across all services, care is supported by strong clinical and safeguarding leadership. Our nurse-led model strengthens health monitoring, risk assessment and care planning, while our safeguarding leadership ensures robust child protection practice, policy compliance and effective multi-agency working.

This integrated oversight provides reassurance to commissioners, families and professionals that young people are supported within a safe and accountable framework.

We believe positive outcomes are achieved through strong partnerships. We work collaboratively with social workers, commissioning teams, CAMHS, education providers, health professionals and safeguarding agencies to ensure coordinated care and clear communication.
Vitality Healthcare Services is committed to delivering high-quality, child-centred care that meets regulatory requirements and professional standards. We prioritise transparency, continuous improvement and positive outcomes for every young person we support.
